Our Approach
We are a psychiatry practice. That means medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and diagnosis. We do not provide therapy or counseling, but we can help you find a therapist if you need one. Our job is the medical side -- figuring out what is going on and getting you on the right treatment.
Your first appointment is a full psychiatric evaluation. We take the time to listen to your story -- your symptoms, your history, your goals, what has worked before and what has not. We do not rush through it. A good evaluation is the foundation of good treatment.
For patients who have struggled with medications in the past, we offer GeneSight testing. It is a cheek swab that shows how your body processes different psychiatric medications -- so we can make smarter choices instead of guessing. We also provide ESA letter evaluations for patients whose treatment includes an emotional support animal.
For Students
The University of Arizona enrolls over 45,000 students. Pima Community College serves thousands more across multiple campuses. College is when a lot of mental health conditions surface for the first time -- ADHD that was manageable in high school becomes overwhelming, anxiety spikes with academic and social pressure, and depression can creep in when you are far from your support system.
Campus counseling has long waitlists. We see students regularly and understand the academic pressures, financial stress, and adjustment challenges that come with college life in Tucson.

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) including Mercy Care and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Cash pay is available for patients who prefer it or do not have insurance.
Our office is at 177 N Church Ave, Suite 200, in downtown Tucson. We serve patients across Southern Arizona including Casa Grande, Green Valley, Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, and Sierra Vista.
