Our Approach
We are a psychiatry practice -- medication management, evaluations, and diagnosis. If you need therapy or counseling, we can help you find it, but our focus is on the medical side of mental health.
Your first appointment is a full psychiatric evaluation. We take the time to listen -- your symptoms, your history, your goals, what has worked before and what has not. This is not a rushed 10-minute visit. We want to understand the full picture before we build a treatment plan.
If previous medications have not worked well, we offer GeneSight testing -- a simple cheek swab that shows how your body processes different psychiatric medications. It takes the guesswork out of finding the right one. We also provide ESA letter evaluations for patients whose treatment plan includes an emotional support animal.
For Students
Northern Arizona University brings over 25,000 students to Flagstaff. For many, it is their first time living at altitude, their first time away from home, and their first time managing everything on their own. ADHD, anxiety, and depression are common -- and campus counseling centers often have long waitlists.
Coconino Community College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University -- Prescott add thousands more students to the region. Academic pressure, financial stress, and the isolation that can come with living in a small mountain town all take a toll. We see students regularly and understand the specific pressures they face.
