Who We Help in Asheboro
Asheboro is a small city with big responsibilities. Randolph County runs on people who show up every day -- at the NC Zoo, at Atrium Health Randolph, on the floor at Technimark or the old furniture plants that still define this part of the Piedmont. People here do not complain much. They push through. But pushing through anxiety, depression, or untreated ADHD year after year takes a toll that willpower alone cannot fix.
Triad Mental Health Partners now has an office on MacArthur Street in Asheboro. You no longer have to drive 30 minutes to Greensboro or High Point for psychiatric care. We serve patients from across Randolph County -- Randleman, Liberty, Ramseur, Franklinville, Seagrove, and the surrounding communities.
What We Treat
We provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and adolescents. Our providers treat ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, PMDD, insomnia, and other conditions. We do not offer therapy or counseling -- our focus is on finding the right medication and making sure it actually works.
For patients who have tried medications before without success, we offer GeneSight genetic testing. A simple cheek swab shows how your body processes different psychiatric medications. No more guessing. Most North Carolina insurance plans cover GeneSight at no additional cost.
Getting Started Is Simple
Most new patients in Asheboro are seen within one week. Here is what to expect:
Step 1: Fill out our contact form or call us. We will get back to you within one business day.
Step 2: Complete a short intake questionnaire before your first visit.
Step 3: Meet with your provider for a comprehensive evaluation -- usually 45 to 60 minutes.
Step 4: Leave with a clear treatment plan and, if appropriate, a prescription you can fill that same day.
Insurance and Cost
We accept most major insurance plans in North Carolina, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and several Medicaid managed care plans like Healthy Blue, WellCare, and AmeriHealth Caritas. Self-pay options are available for patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay out of pocket.
Built for Asheboro
Randolph County has always been underserved when it comes to mental health care. Most people here had two choices -- drive to Greensboro or wait months for an opening at one of the few local providers. Neither option works when you are trying to hold down a job at the NC Zoo, keep up with classes at Randolph Community College, or manage a household while your brain fights you every step of the way.
We opened in Asheboro because this community deserves the same access to psychiatric care that the bigger Triad cities have. Same-week appointments. Providers who know your name. A practice built around your schedule, not ours.
You do not have to keep pushing through on your own. Reach out today and we will get you on the schedule this week.
