Psychiatric Care in North Raleigh
Our Raleigh office is at 9121 Anson Way in North Raleigh. We help adults with medication management, psychiatric evaluations, GeneSight testing, and ESA letters. You get a clear plan, real follow-up, and care that is built on proof -- not guesswork.
Most people wait too long to get help. They tell themselves it is just stress, or that it will pass. If you are still reading, it probably has not passed. The good news: the right plan can make a real difference, often within a few weeks.
Who We Help in Raleigh
Raleigh is the capital city, and it runs on hard work. Thousands of people work for the State of North Carolina, from policy staff downtown to people who keep state agencies running every day. The Wake County Public School System is one of the largest school systems in the state, and its teachers carry a heavy load.
Health care is a big part of Raleigh, too. WakeMed, UNC Rex, and Duke Raleigh Hospital employ nurses, doctors, techs, and support staff who spend all day caring for others -- and often put their own health last. Tech and finance workers at Red Hat, First Citizens Bank, and Martin Marietta deal with long days and tight deadlines. We see people from all of these jobs, and many more.
What We Treat
We help with the problems that get in the way of work, school, and home life:
- ADHD -- trouble focusing, missed deadlines, and feeling behind no matter how hard you try
- Anxiety -- worry that will not shut off, tension, and trouble sleeping
- Depression -- low mood, low energy, and losing interest in things you used to enjoy
- Bipolar disorder -- mood swings that make life hard to plan
- Sleep problems -- lying awake at night and dragging through the day
How Medication Management Works
Your first visit is a full evaluation. We go over your history, your symptoms, what medicines you have tried, and how they worked. Then we build a plan that fits you. We do not just hand you a script and send you off. We check in, track how you are doing, and change the plan if it is not working.
Some people have tried two or three medicines with poor results or bad side effects. For them, we offer GeneSight testing. It is a simple cheek swab. It shows how your genes may affect the way your body handles certain medicines, so we can make smarter choices and waste less time.
We also do Emotional Support Animal evaluations for patients whose anxiety or depression meets the criteria for an ESA letter.
For NC State and Raleigh Students
Raleigh is a college town as much as a capital city. NC State, Meredith College, Shaw University, William Peace University, and Wake Tech all bring students here. College is hard. Exams, jobs, money, and being away from home can pile up fast. ADHD, anxiety, and depression are common, and they are treatable. We help students get focused and feel steady, so they can finish what they started.
