Remote role for a PMHNP in North Carolina, as an independent contractor (1099). You will provide psychiatric care remotely to patients in North Carolina, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, working with a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in peer consultation and case review
- Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active PMHNP certification (ANCC board certified)
- Active state license in applicable state(s)
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience preferred
- Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
