Mental Health Care for Logan and Cache Valley
Logan Psychiatry and Mental Health provides psychiatric medication management, ADHD evaluations, GeneSight testing, and ESA letters for adults in Logan and surrounding Cache Valley communities. We see patients at 701 S Main St, 1st Floor. Now accepting new patients are typically available.
Who We Help in Logan
Cache Valley has its own rhythm -- and its own pressures. We work with Utah State University students managing the stress of exams and research deadlines. We see faculty and staff at USU who carry heavy workloads while balancing family life. We treat employees at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Conservice, and Campbell Scientific who deal with demanding schedules and the mental load that comes with technical work.
We help teachers and administrators in the Cache County School District and Logan City School District who give all day to their students and have little left for themselves. We see workers at Schreiber Foods, Gossner Foods, and JBS USA managing shift work that disrupts sleep and mood. We treat parents in Nibley, Providence, and Smithfield who feel stretched thin between kids, work, and the long Cache Valley winters.
Whether you are a remote tech worker who moved here from the Wasatch Front, a first-generation college student at Bridgerland Technical College, or a lifelong Cache Valley resident -- we are here for you.
Our Approach
Every new patient starts with a thorough psychiatric evaluation. We listen to your history, your symptoms, and what you have already tried. If medication is appropriate, we build a plan together -- no one-size-fits-all prescribing.
For patients who have tried multiple medications without relief, we offer GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing. A simple cheek swab analyzes how your DNA affects medication metabolism, helping us match you with treatments more likely to work and less likely to cause side effects.
We also provide legitimate ESA (Emotional Support Animal) letter evaluations for patients with qualifying mental health conditions.
For Students
If you attend Utah State University, Bridgerland Technical College, or InTech Collegiate Academy, getting psychiatric care does not have to wait until a crisis. Academic stress, social anxiety, ADHD symptoms that spike during finals -- these are things we treat every week. Many students put off getting help because they think it will be complicated. It is not. You book, you show up, and we work on it together.
For Working Professionals
Logan's economy is more diverse than people realize. We treat engineers at Space Dynamics Laboratory, production workers at Icon Health and Fitness, technicians at Cytiva and Entegris, and staff at Logan Regional Hospital. We see small business owners along Main Street and remote workers logging into jobs based in Salt Lake City or out of state. Whatever your work schedule looks like, we can find a time that works.
Getting Started
We accept SelectHealth, PEHP, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, Molina Healthcare, Utah Medicaid, and most major insurance plans. If you do not have insurance, cash-pay options are available. Your first appointment typically runs 45-60 minutes. We will review your history, discuss your goals, and if medication is appropriate, you may leave with a prescription the same day. Follow-up visits are shorter check-ins to monitor progress and adjust treatment.
