In many cases, yes. If your check-up supports an ADHD diagnosis, your provider can discuss medication options and write a prescription during that first visit. Follow-up visits then fine-tune the dose.
What is GeneSight testing and is it covered by insurance?
GeneSight is a DNA test that helps predict how you respond to mental health medications. A simple cheek swab is sent to a lab, and results come back in days. Many insurance plans cover GeneSight, and the company offers financial assistance for out-of-pocket costs.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We typically have same-week availability for new patients. Contact us to schedule and we will find the earliest opening that works for you.
