Who We Help in Las Vegas
Las Vegas runs 24 hours a day. The people who keep it running -- dealers, bartenders, hotel staff, nurses, drivers -- do not work 9 to 5. They work swings. They work graves. They work doubles. And when something feels off, the last thing they need is a provider who only books appointments on Tuesday at 2 PM.
We treat the people who actually live here. Not tourists. Not weekenders. The people raising kids in Summerlin, commuting from Henderson, teaching at Clark County schools, and pulling shifts at UMC. We see adults and teens 15 and older dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, insomnia, and more.
Las Vegas has one of the highest population-to-provider ratios in the country. That means long wait times at most practices. We keep open slots open specifically for new patients. You should not have to wait two months to feel better.
Our Approach
This is a psychiatry practice. We prescribe and manage medication. We do not do talk therapy, but we can point you in the right direction if you need it.
Your first appointment takes about 45 minutes. We go through your history, symptoms, medications you have tried, and what has or has not worked. If medication makes sense, we start it that day. If you have tried multiple medications without results, we offer GeneSight testing -- a simple cheek swab that shows how your body processes different psychiatric drugs. No more trial and error.
We also do psychiatric evaluations and Emotional Support Animal letters for patients who qualify.
For Students
UNLV has over 30,000 students. The College of Southern Nevada serves even more. Nevada State University is growing fast. College is when a lot of people realize something is off -- the workload gets harder and the coping strategies from high school stop working. ADHD, anxiety, and depression are the most common reasons college students come to us. If you are struggling to focus, keep up with assignments, or get out of bed, that is not laziness. That is worth looking into.
For Working Professionals
Clark County is the economic engine of Nevada. MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn Resorts, and Station Casinos employ tens of thousands of people. The Clark County School District has over 40,000 employees. Nellis Air Force Base employs close to 12,000. UMC and Sunrise Hospital are the backbone of the healthcare system here.
If your job runs you into the ground and your brain will not shut off at night, that is not something you should just push through. We treat burnout, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and sleep problems in people who cannot afford to take a day off -- but also cannot keep going like this.
